Cake Sprinkles

It has been soooo long since I've posted.  I'm still around - just busy.  Anyway, I just quickly wanted to post this little secret of mine for how to decorate a cake.

1. Print off your image, etc. that you want to use.  I made this for my son's first birthday cake, so all I needed was a number 1.  Tape to cardboard and using an exacto knife, cut around the image - cutting the cardboard at the same time.

2. After frosting your cake, lay the stencil on top of your cake.  Shake your sprinkles over the stencil and pick up the stencil when done.  I also put sprinkles all over the cake, but you don't have to do that.

Here's another example.  I made this cake for Halloween.  Please note this image is not my exact cake, this is from the original source.
